I personally prefer to shoot sunsets where the sun is either hiding behind clouds, or is not even in the frame!
Choosing the Right Day
In Malaysia, the best day for photographing a sunset or sunrise is a day when it is unbearably hot. This is because the sky is so clear that it is almost cloudless, therefore the sun's heat rays are at their maximum intensity. So the next time you feel that the temperature is shooting up, pack your tripod and head for your favourite photography location!
The Right White Balance
A good starting point for your white balance setting would be Daylight/Sunny. This is to preserve any blue colour in left in the sky. Using a warmer white balance setting such as Cloudy or Shade may kill the blues. If there is no blue left in the sky, my advice is to go warm, which is to choose either Cloudy or Shade, in order to maximise the intensity of the orange/yellow colour.
Intentionally underexposing the shot will also give you a richer orange hue. If you are using Aperture Priority mode, dial in a -1 EV to supercharge your orange skies. Alternatively, in Manual exposure mode, close down the F-stop to a higher number, or increase your shutter speed by 1 stop. By the way, 1 stop on your camera could mean either 3 clicks if you have set your camera at 1/3 increments, or 2 clicks if you've chosen 1/2 increments.

Exposure Blending
Another technique for better sunset pictures is to use exposure blending. This involves setting your camera on a tripod, and taking 2 shots. The first shot exposes for the sky and clouds, while the second shot exposes for the foreground. Then blend these 2 shots in Adobe Photoshop. This technique is very useful for taming the wide dynamic range of a typical sunset. Landscape photographers shooting a sunset scene on a coastline can use exposure blending in order to get both the foreground and sky properly exposed, as well as to use a slow enough shutter speed to create the silky texture of the waves.
Panoramic Vistas
You can take about 4 to 5 shots of a sunset panorama and then stitch them together in Adobe Photoshop. When taking panoramas, it helps to use Manual exposure mode, and manual focusing so that your focus point does not change from shot to shot. Using a telephoto lens rather than a wide angle lens also helps to minimise distortion, so that it is easier to do the stitching later.

Pullip is a fashion doll created in 2003 by Cheonsang Cheonha of South Korea. They are ball jointed dolls (BJD) which means their body is consisted of ball and socket joints giving them more movement and a more realistic appearance. Pullip dolls are uniquely known for their large heads and skinny body form.
The Pullip family consists of 5 members: Pullip, Isul, Taeyang, Dal and Byul. They live in Milano, Italy and each doll has his/her own personality and style.
- Pullip (Korean translation: leaf) is the main member of the Pullip family. She is a very beautiful and popular high school student and is 12 inches tall. She has an outgoing personality and no one compares to her flawless & fantastic fashion style. Her hobbies include scuba diving and performing swing music in a big band. She also involves herself in her high school's drama club. One of her favorite pastimes is shopping.
- Isul (Korean translation: dew) is Pullip's baby brother and was introduced to fans in 2011. He is 15 years old and is currently attending classes at a private high school located in San Francisco, California. Isul, like his big sis Pullip, is very attractive and has impeccable taste in clothing. His hobbies include playing soccer and reading books.

-Taeyang (Korean translation: sun) is Pullip's current boyfriend. He is a handsome, 14 inches tall student studying at the College of Music in Milano. On the outside she appears to be a bit of a firecracker with her pouty lips however she is really quite a sweet and kindhearted girl who loves her big brother dearly. Like most teenagers, she has her own personal blog which she enjoys posting to regularly. Dal blogs about many things like what's happening at her Korean school in Milano and other teenage girl topics. Dal is also a member of her school's tennis club which her best friend is a member of as well.
- Byul (Korean translation: star) is Dal's best friend. She is also 13 years old, 10 inches tall, attends the same school as Dal and is a member of the same tennis club with Dal. Actually, Byul is the assistant manager of the tennis club. Byul has a huge crush on Isul, Pullip's little brother. Byul daydreams of becoming a beautiful, glowing bride. Maybe someday her dream will come true.

Eversince Josuke Sugino first succeeded in creating a white, smooth porcelain ware in 1777, many potters have added their own unique touch to make Japanese pottery as interesting as we know it today.  For Tobeyaki potters, the secret lies in the use of deep indigo designs called "Gosu-e."
Beloved in its hometown of Tobe in Matsuyama city, Ehime prefecture, each piece of tobeyaki pottery is regarded as a priceless possession, which is tediously crafted for 42 hours or approximately 2 days! Although the process seems too much of a burden, tobeyaki potters have faithfully endured it to make sure that each piece passes the standards of excellence.
According to the Japan International Cooperation Agency and Ehime Overseas Cooperative Association, there are 11 steps involved in the making of Tobeyaki Pottery.    Here's your chance to give tobeyaki a try.  Roll up your sleeves, and start the grueling yet fulfilling process of making tobeyaki.

Quarry the pottery stone.  
2.         Turn the stone into clay at a clay factory.  
3.         Massage the clay by machine to remove air.  
4.         Cast clay on wheel called "Rokuro."  
5.         Shear, clean and buff up the mold while its damp.  
6.         Sun dry them.   
7.         Bake them for 8 to 10 hours in a kiln (oven) at 900 to 950 degrees Celsius.  
8.         Paint each ware by hand.  
9.         Varnish.  
10.       For the last time, bake the wares for 15-24 hours in a kiln at 1,200 degrees Celsius.  
11.       Use red, green and blue hues on the wares, and bake for 7 to 8 hours in a kiln at 800 degrees Celsius.  Once you get to see and hold the finished product, you can't help but say that Tobeyaki pottery is certainly worth all the effort!

world class Singapore

I used to have a Shiro DX331 Digital Camera for about a few years.
It is perhaps one of the cheapest compact digital camera available on the market. If I am not wrong, this camera is made in Singapore. Appearance wise, it is a nice and slim little digital compact camera. It has a nice and smooth slide door that is meant to protect the lense.
It can deliver an output of up to 7.1 Mega Pixels. It also sports 4X Digital Zoom. The model that I have comes in a silvery body. I am not sure whether it comes in other colour variants as well.
I had put the camera through quite a few scenarios. Here are my thoughts of this camera.
The Shiro DX331 Digital Camera is generally capable of taking acceptable daytime landscape and urban shots. Under bright daylight, the images come up nice, sharp and colourful.

However, from my experience, it may not be so suitable for usage in the night or under dimly lit conditions. Under such conditions, the resultant photo can appear underexposed. They may lack details and appear much darker than the actual scene.
It will recommend this camera if you are mainly taking day shots that are under bright conditions. The camera is low cost and for its price, it does a good job. The other thing that I like about it, is its lightweight and small size. This allow me to fit it nicely into the pocket. It is thus easy and convenient to carry around.
